Nice, friendly, sociale owner who made us feel at home. It seems to be the most lively bar restaurant in the village.

Nice location with a view of the water in the small coastal industrial village of San Esteban. Lunch options are okay, a bit oily. Good coffee. We paid around €35 for two people for lunch with coffee.

What a find! Looking for an early dinner (difficult in Spain) whilst passing through. We were interested in the industrial heritage of the port at San Esteban and discovered El Monterey. Wonderful authentic food with charming, friendly service. Excellent dining experience.

Opinión de David Woodrow
Food is really good, we went for the menu del día. It was great. Must be there before 3 for the menu. Probably getting there at 2 is a good idea with a table booked. I will go back there again. For me, I'd say it is the best place to eat typical food from the area. I lived in Cudillero.

Opinión de Tina Müller
At this taperia my camino friends and I had a really wonderful evening. For me, it was one of the best nights I had during my camino del norte. The food was delicious and the waiter and the cook were so friendly, we had lot's of fun with them. They even have a vegetarian pilgrims meal, that was really wonderful. It's worth it to go a longer way round here.
